Ella Langley and Koe Wetzel have reunited for “Jaded,” a new collaboration released as part of the expanded edition of Wetzel’s album The Night Champion. The song marks the second pairing between the artists, following their 2023 collaboration “That’s Why We Fight,” which became an RIAA Gold-certified track and helped establish a musical connection that has continued as both performers’ careers have grown.
Written by Wetzel, Langley, Jordan Schmidt and ERNEST after the four musicians worked together in Nashville, Jaded centers on two people carrying emotional damage from previous relationships, with the singers trying to understand the experiences that caused one another to become guarded and distrustful.
“Jaded” arrives as both artists continue major runs in country music. Langley is coming off the successful release of “Dandelion,” her sophomore album and has since become one of country music’s prominent emerging stars, earning major chart success with songs including “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green and “Choosin’ Texas.” Meanwhile, Wetzel has been preparing a new chapter of his career after a successful 2025 that included his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “High Road,” his collaboration with Jessie Murph.
