After a successful two-year journey across North America, country music legend Randy Travis is preparing to wrap up his celebrated ‘More Life Tour.’
Travis has revealed the final schedule for his current concert run, plotting late-season stops across various regions including New England, Texas, the Southwest, and the Midwest. Ever since its inception, the production has visited 54 cities spanning 24 states, giving audiences a unique opportunity to reconnect with the iconic artist.
Because of the lingering physical impacts of a major stroke he survived in 2013, Travis does not provide live vocals during the events. Instead, the musician takes the stage alongside his wife, Mary, to appreciate the performances, engage with the crowd, and share the spotlight with his long-standing backing band. Taking over the microphone is guest artist James Dupré, who handles vocal duties for a setlist packed with timeless hits like “On the Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and “Three Wooden Crosses.”
Reflecting on the experience, Travis shared a statement about what the live series represents to him: “The ‘More Life Tour’ celebrates something so much more than a musical moment in time—it’s a gift to me to spend time with my fans, and my band, as James Dupré perfectly presents the songs that best define my career. We look forward to seeing you all somewhere along the way.”
Dupré also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, noting: “This tour has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Night after night, it’s been incredible to see how much Randy’s music still means to people. As we head into these final dates, I’m grateful to Randy, Mary, and the fans for letting me be part of something this special.”
